I wanted to make something fun and delicious for Halloween. When I came across a recipe for Oreo Truffles online, I knew it was a winner. They were a big hit with all of my tasters, and I would definitely make them again. My only change would be to try to find a balance between drizzling and fully dipping the truffles.
Recipe after the jump.

I try not to use a lot of disposable products, so inside of wax paper, I rolled my oreo/cream cheese mix onto a silicone baking mat before popping them in the frige for a bit. The mat worked great - the completed truffles came right off.

I substituted almond bark for the baker's chocolate. I was worried that the fully dipped truffles would be too sweet, so I did half dipped and half drizzled. In actuality, I would have preferred something between the two. Something to shoot for next time!
